Thing Thing Arena 3
Thing Thing Arena 3 Instructions
As far as controls go, Thing Thing Arena 3 is very standard for a online shooting game. For the basic movements, you need to use the W, A, S, and D buttons. W to jump, S to duck an take cover, A and D to move left and right. Should you need to run, combine the last 2 with the Shift button and hold on to it. As for shooting and taking down enemies, it's pretty straightforward: aim with your mouse, and once you are all set, press the left click button to fire. To reload your weapon, press R. Changing weapons is taken care of by pressing E or the mouse wheel if your mouse has one. If you are out of bullets, you can throw or exchange your weapon by pressing space. To grab or execute, press F. Lastly, if you need to pause the game for some reason, just press P. Once you are ready, hit the button again and you are good to go. Oh! By the way, while the keyboard controls are perfectly OK, you can easily remap them by going to the Options menu.

Thing Thing Arena 3 - well, the objective is pretty much the same: kill as many enemies as possible... BUT now it comes with a twist. You need to kill them in style! The points you earn don't just come from killing enemies, it boils down on how stylish and jaw dropping you killed them. I think this change in the game play is very much needed. It sets Thing Thing Arena 3 from the rest of the shooting games out there.
Some reminders: you are only allowed to carry 2 weapons at a time plus your lead pipe. If you have fewer weapons than that, any weapon you walk over is automatically added to your inventory. There are dual wielded weapons. Once you pick up one, you also pick up its companion.
There are a couple of tricks and moves that you need to have in your arsenal if you want to get far in this game. First off, the Front Flip and Back Flip. This is performed when you double jump and it depends on which direction you are moving. What makes front and back flips great is that it makes you very evasive and hard for enemies to track you. In Thing Thing Arena 3... or whatever version or installment of Thing Thing you are playing, you don't want to be a sitting duck for enemies to feast on.
Next, we have the Ground Stomp. This is done by double tapping the S key, the duck key if you will, after you have jumped once. YES, you can stomp on enemies to do some damage. Of course, the good old "Take Cover!" cannot be ignored. When you are close to a wall, press S to take cover against it. Ducking and being against a wall makes you are hard target to hit.
Lastly, there's the Grab, Execute combo for finishing off enemies in style. When an enemy is stunned, you have a couple of seconds to grab them by pressing the F key. Once you have successfully grabbed an enemy, press F again to execute them. I won't spoil it. You have to see it for yourself how you go about executing a stunned opponent. And here's the sweet thing about it, you don't get hit by enemies while performing an execution!
