Sixty Walkthrough

Sixty is without a doubt one of the most fast paced, intense action shooting games online. The real beauty of the game is in the simplicity of it all. There are no fancy upgrades and no additional weapons to buy. There aren't any levels to beat or puzzles to solve. The graphics are fun but they aren't exactly the most detailed graphics you'll find in an action shooting game. Everything about this game says it should be pretty average, but it is anything but. What makes this game so exciting is the challenge it puts before you. Your only goal is to destroy as many enemies you can to earn the highest score you can earn in one minute. When one minute is up, your game is over and you get your score and your rank based on that score. It can be a bit insulting but that little barb that comes along with your rank drives you to play again and do better. It speaks to the competitive nature in us all. There's a certain satisfaction that comes with progressing from a rank of 'amusingly awful' to 'incredibly good' and this game makes you want to make that progress.

Sixty is what action shooting games are all about. It's frantic. It's fast paced and it's intense. It also happens to be incredibly addictive. This is a game you're going to want to play over and over again and at only sixty seconds a game, you don't feel like you're wasting a huge portion of your day on a game even if you spend an hour playing it. It's easy to get lost in this game and have time just fly by. This probably isn't a game you should tackle if you have anything important that needs to be done right away because you're going to be glued to your computer for a while with this one. That little meter is going to keep pushing you and pushing you until you finally get a score you're pleased with. Just don't be surprised when you reach that score and find yourself wanting to do even better.

Like many action shooting games, Sixty gets more intense with every wave. In this game, though, that increased intensity can be attributed to the addition to the little blue intensity arrows you'll collect as you play. These blue arrows up the intensity level which means you'll be facing off against even more enemies. The greater the number of arrows you collect the greater the number of enemies you will face. While that may seem like a bad thing, it's actually rather beneficial. More enemies attacking at once means you have more enemies that you can take out to boost your score even higher. You don't have to worry about your health running out in this game. There is no health - just you and a clock that is counting down to the end. For that reason, having a lot of enemies attacking gives you the chance to get the best possible score.

In Sixty, continuous fire is your best friend. Hold down that left mouse button and let the bullets fly. While other action shooting games reward marksmanship, this game only rewards kills. Look for the area on the screen that is more densely populated with enemies and just open fire, moving back and forth over that area to spray the enemies with bullets. As the game gets more intense, though, you may want to just keep your ship firing in a steady circle, shooting bullets all over the screen. This is a great way to take out the most possible enemies in the fastest possible time. You'll be surprised at how high of a score you get if you forget about aiming and just cover the entire screen with bullets from your ship.

Overall, Sixty is one of the most wholly addictive action shooting games online that will have you constantly striving to improve. This is a game you want to do well at. It isn't a light little game you play to kill some time with. It's a game you want to conquer. While you may not be able to beat the game, getting a score at the top of the scale definitely feels like winning. Experienced action shooting game players are going to love the time limit imposed on the game and the challenge posed to get a high score while newcomers to the genre are going to love the fact that they can pick up the controls easily and have a great time playing. While newcomers might not be able to reach even the middle of the scale the first few times through the game; develop a strategy and stick with it. This game is definitely worth it.
