Palisade Guardian 2 Walkthrough

Palisade Guardian 2 is the sequel to the defensive shooting game, Palisade Guardian. The first Palisade Guardian took place during the Second World War; following the recent modern warfare trend, Palisade Guardian 2 (also known as Palisade Guardian 2: Modern Combat) uses modern weapons. This shooting game is to its predecessor in the graphics and gameplay departments, but features a new setting and a larger variety of weapons.

The objective of Palisade Guardian 2 is to defend your base from enemy soldiers. If you are familiar with the first Palisade Guardian, then the basic concept of this shooting game should be simple since the overall gameplay has not changed. Shoot enemies before they can damage the building that you are guarding. Enemies cannot attack you directly, so there is no need to worry. This shooting game does not have a save feature, so you will have to start from the beginning if you lose or quit.

Palisade Guardian 2 uses the same controls as its predecessor: move the mouse to aim and click to shoot. Once you have more than one weapon in your arsenal, you may use the D and F keys to cycle through your weapons. Press and hold the spacebar to use your sights. When using your sights, your weapon becomes extremely accurate but your field is view is more limited. It is still a good idea to fire in short bursts to achieve the greatest accuracy.

Palisade Guardian 2 features a plethora of modern weapons that you may be familiar with from playing FPS games (or reading about them or actually firing them if you are a firearms buff). You should buy guns based on their statistics and prices, not based on previous experience with them in other games or real life. The guns in this shooting game are not necessarily modeled for realism nor do they share statistics with their counterparts in other shooting games.

Palisade Guardian 2 does not bring any innovation to the genre of defensive shooting games, but it is a solid game in its own right and a marked improvement over its predecessor.
