Hitstick 4 Walkthrough
Much like the other games in the Hitstick series, Hitstick 4 is an intense and engrossing first person shooting game that will put your shooting and logic skills to the test and keep you entertained from beginning to end. In this game, for each mission you will have several objectives you'll need to carry out to pass, but that isn't always as easy as simply aiming and firing your gun. You'll need to analyze the challenge put before you and figure out the best way to go about accomplishing your objectives. Sometimes completing a mission will require you to pick up clothes to help you disguise yourself so you won't alert the guards. Knowing when you should do this is really a matter of paying attention to your objectives. As with most mission based first person shooting games, killing innocents will either cause you to fail your mission or will deduct points from your total score. Choosing the right weapons is also important if you want to succeed. Use your common sense when selecting your weapon, pay attention to your objectives and carefully plan your attack strategy and you should be able to beat all four missions in this excellent first person shooting game.
Hitstick 4 isn't an easy game if you're used to first person shooting games that require you to do little more than point and shoot. Even the more advanced games often leave out the level of detail you get with games in the Hitstick series. You not only have to take out only your targets, but you also have to make sure you're not detected by wearing different disguises or by moving carefully through the levels. For that reason, the game can be a bit more complicated than a more traditional first person shooter. This is what really sets this one apart from other games in the genre and is also what makes it so fun and addictive. You want to keep pushing yourself to complete missions to see what the next level holds. However, it can be a bit frustrating in the beginning simply because it does take a while to figure out what the game is asking of you. Once you get passed the first mission, though, you get a much better idea of what's happening and the game is a lot less difficult.
To help you get started with Hitstick 4, this basic walkthrough of the first mission will help you beat the first mission and give you the basic foundation you need to tackle the rest of the missions. They'll still offer a good challenge and you will likely need to retry certain missions multiple times, but having at least made it through the first mission, you'll know what to look for to get through. To start, select your weapons. You're allowed to carry two weapons at a time. Choose a good weapon for short range combat and a good weapon for long range shots. If you have any experience with first person shooting games, you should have a basic understanding of which is which. For beginners, I would recommend choosing the beretta and the M16. They'll cover all of the bases well. As you progress you'll unlock additional weapons, but for now, all you really need is the beretta and the M16. Click okay and start your mission.
Your first mission in Hitstick 4 is 'Appeasing Death'. You have three objectives you need to complete. Take out the drug dealer, take out the drug dealer's three guards and make it out of the parlor alive. When you begin your mission you will be in the lobby of the massage parlor. At the top left of the screen you will see an icon that represents you. If you click on this icon, you'll see several options, but, unless you'd like to start over, you don't need to worry about any of these options right now. At the top right of the screen, you'll see a gray box with a drop down menu arrow. When it comes time to shoot, you'll click on this drop down menu to select the weapon you want to use. There are three people in the lobby and a flight of stairs at the back of the room. In front of the stairs, there is an arrow. You don't need to shoot anyone in this room. Click on the arrow to climb the stairs. At the top of the stairs you'll see a woman and two guards. Ignore them and enter the first room on the left by clicking on the arrow pointing to it. Once inside you'll see a guard, a man, lockers and benches. On one of the benches, there will be a white robe. Click on the white robe to put it on. Your player icon in the top left will now be wearing a robe. This will be your disguise for the mission.
After you've put the robe on in Hitstick 4, you're ready to walk through the parlor without raising suspicions. Return to the hallway and go straight ahead by clicking on the forward pointing arrow. On the right side of the screen, you'll see two doors. At the top of the screen you'll see curtains and two guards. Since you're brilliantly disguised in a robe, you don't have to worry about the guards right now. Go into the second room on the right to take out your first target. Select a weapon and shoot the man. Holster your weapon and return to the hallway. Go through the curtains at the end of the hall. Ignore the guards and turn left. You'll see two guards, two massage therapists and two men lying on tables. In the back of the room, you'll see a third man on a table. The two men on the tables are your targets. You'll need to take them out. As soon as you draw your weapon, however, the guards will be alarmed. This is where having shooting skills will come in handy. You'll need to fire quickly and accurately to take out both of the guards and survive. Focus on the guards first and then take out the two men on the table. Once you have them taken care of, it's time to move on to your main target.
Your main target in the 'Appease Death' mission in Hitstick 4 is the large man lying on the table in the back room. With the two men and the guards taken out, it's just you and your target. Go into the back room and take him out. With your targets taken out, it's time to escape. Return to the room with the dance floor and turn right. You'll see a window. Click on the window to exit it and escape. The mission is complete when you've safely escaped from the parlor. The best way to get through all four missions in this game is to walk through your options once with your weapon holstered. Most guards won't fire on you unless you have your weapon drawn. See if there are any disguises you can collect along the way to help you blend it. Look at objects that you might not think you can interact with. Be thorough. Sometimes the answers aren't as obvious as a white robe lying on a bench. You might need to do a little looking, but take your time. The only way to get through this game is to be careful.
Another thing that really makes Hitstick 4 different from most other first person shooting games online is the introduction of cheat codes. While most players are able to make it through the game fairly easily without codes, other players having a hard time may choose to use them. Some are incredibly useful while others make the game a little more fun. 'Killy' gives you access to all of the weapons in the game. 'Imuny' makes you invincible which means you don't have to worry about being killed by enemy fire. 'Hosty' removes the aggression from the game and allows you to take out your targets without having to worry about dealing with aggressive guards. All of these cheats make the game much easier but really, it takes a lot of fun out of the game. 'Bloody' gives the gore-hounds what they want by upping the blood factor while 'cuty' gives everyone cat faces. These two cheats are obviously meant for fun and don't really make the game easier or harder, but they're worth checking out if you should feel so inclined.
Overall, Hitstick 4 is a wonderfully challenging first person shooting game that will challenge you to stay on your toes while using your logic skills to find the best way to beat a level. This is a great game for anyone regardless of skill or experience level, although newcomers to first person shooting games might have a bit of trouble with areas of the game when fast shooting is required. Even so, as you play, you will improve. More experienced players are probably going to find the shooting parts pretty easy, but that doesn't take anything away from the overall enjoyment of the game. The real fun is in figuring out how to get through the mission without getting killed and using your brain to solve the puzzles each mission presents. If you're a fan of puzzle games, adventure games or first person shooting games, you need to give Hitstick 4 a shot.
