Gunball 2: Emperor's Revenge Walkthrough

Gunball 2: Emperor's Revenge is the sequel to the top-down arena shooting game, Gunball Arena. Gunball 2: Emperor's Revenge features similar controls and graphics to those of its forerunner along with new weapons and a plethora of new battles to fight.

The objective of Gunball 2: Emperor's Revenge is to overthrow the evil emperor by defeating him in combat. To do this, you must make your way to him on the map, fighting numerous battles along the way and buying upgrades with the money that you earn. You do not have to complete all of the battles in this shooting game; you merely have to forge a path to the emperor. Completing more than the necessary battles will allow you to gain more upgrade points, however. Your progress is automatically saved so any completed battles, unlocked pathways, or upgrades that you have bought will be available to you should you decide to continue your game in the future.

The key to success in Gunball 2: Emperor's Revenge is upgrading your tiny round robot into a wreckin' machine! When enemies are destroyed, they will drop coins on the field. Be sure to pick these coins up so that you can buy items in the shop. A good configuration for the first few battles is to use an auto gun on the front of your character and one simple gun on your character's left and right. With this setup and skillful maneuvering, you should be able to defeat most enemies in the first battles of this shooting game easily.

Aside from buying weapons, you can also upgrade skills. Killing enemies provides experience. When enough experience is gained, you will level up, similar to the system of a role-playing game. Each time you level up, you gain one skill point which can be used to upgrade your character. Some upgrades require you to obtain prior upgrades, so choose carefully. I advise upgrading your damage skill and the health level skill that it unlocks. These upgrades will increase the damage done against enemies and give you more health so that you can take more punishment.

Gunball 2: Emperor's Revenge is a massive improvement over its predecessor, Gunball Arena. If you enjoyed the first Gunball or if you are just looking for an exciting and addictive shooting game, then you will love Gunball 2: Emperor's Revenge!
