Cannon Shot Walkthrough
Cannon Shot is an excellent and engrossing physics shooting game that will challenge you to think carefully about each and every move you make. While the game starts off fairly simple, things get much more difficult as your progress. The goal of the game is fairly simple. You have to destroy the colored blocks using cannonballs fired from your cannon. What makes this game different from most physics shooting games online is the fact that you have different colored blocks to destroy and different colored cannonballs to shoot. You have to be careful to only hit blocks that are the same color as the cannonball you shoot. This is where the difficulty lies. You also have to be careful not to knock any colored bricks off the edge of a platform. In order to progress to the next level you need to obtain the number of points displayed in the upper right corner of the game screen. In many levels, you'll need to destroy most, if not all, of the blocks on the screen to reach that target. Pushing the blocks off the edge of a platform does mean they're destroyed. It just means they're lost and that's not something you want to happen.
Newcomers to physics games are going to have problems with Cannon Shot once things start getting a little less straightforward. More experienced players, on the other hand, are probably going to find this one a bit on the easy side from beginning to end. That doesn't mean the game isn't challenging. It simply means there are more difficult physics shooting games online. That's really what makes this one so appealing. You can have a little more fun with it. It isn't quite as intense as some of the other games in the genre which is a great change of pace. If you're looking for a game to kill a little time with but don't want it to be mind numbingly boring or pointless - if you want to actually be challenged to think - this is the game for you. Newcomers who are having a hard time should just stick with it. As you play, you'll get more familiar with what you need to do and you'll improve. Pay attention to the strength and angle you're using for every shot - even the ones that aren't successful. There is no better lesson than the lesson learned from a mistake.
As you progress in Cannon Shot, as in most physics shooting games, you'll have to navigate your shots around new and more difficult obstacles and keep an eye on what color blocks you should be shooting at. The great thing about this game, though, is that you are given the first few levels to get used to how the game is played and get a feel for the controls. Although frustrating, those who have trouble even getting passed the first few levels without retrying again and again are actually getting benefit out of each retry. If you're one of those people, try not to get so frustrated you give up. You will be able to beat it if you stick with it. Pay attention to what you are doing in your when you shoot - how you're aiming and how much strength you're using - and adjust those two factors the next time you tackle the level. In time, you will be able to get the hang of it. There isn't a single level in this game that can't be beaten, so make sure you stick with it.
The only way to progress in Cannon Shot is to pay attention to what's going on on the screen. Look at the way the puzzle is set up. Pay attention to the colors and pay attention to what color cannonballs you will be given next. Like most of the other physics shooting games online, this one relies on strategy and logic to build a solid and challenging game. For that reason, using strategy and logic to solve the puzzles in the only way to win. It takes patience and practice, but you can get to the end of the game. This is one of the best physics shooting games online simply because it is so easy yet so difficult at the same time. Once you figure out a solid strategy, the game gets quite a bit more easy. The problem is that as soon as you figure out that strategy, a new obstacle is introduced that throws a wrench into the works. Stay alert and focused, though, and you should do fine.
