Asteroids Deluxe Walkthrough

Every gamer out there is familiar with the original space-themed shooting game Asteroids. It was one of the first video games ever created, or at least one of the most popular among the first available, and with Asteroids Deluxe, not only will you be able to enjoy the same gameplay mechanics of the original, but you'll enjoy some nice features.

And for anyone who enjoys flash games, there aren't many reboots of Asteroids out there that are enjoyable. Even though the original game was a classic, compared with the video games out today (and flash games), it's relatively boring. So, once you start playing this shooting game, there are a few things you'll have to get used to right away - and a few things you'll have to look out for from the start. First of all, the controls in Asteroids Deluxe aren't forgiving (and neither was the original), so it's best to get comfortable with them as quickly as you can. While good shooting will save you plenty of times, handling and good use of the controls is invaluable. Lastly, keep an eye out for asteroids - but pay just as much attention to alien ships. The bonus points they'll give you pay off a lot quicker than asteroids - and alien ships will try to take you out as well.

Overall, Asteroids Deluxe pays homage to the original shooting game, and it's a fun update while doing so. Although it's difficult, and it takes a while to get used to the controls, it has a lot of features the original never had - so, if you're looking to waste some time, there's no better way than playing Asteroids Deluxe.
